C.P.R. Training & Certification
We offer the following courses from the American Heart Association.
C.P.R. Basic Life Support (BLS). for the Healthcare Provider. ( EMT, Nurse, Firefighter). The NEW 2023 American Heart Association standards
This Course includes Adult/Child CPR -Choking, Infant CPR Choking, Barrier devices, Adult/Child AED, Infant CPR and more.
Students Must pass both the Hands on (Practical) and Written Exam for a certificate which is valid for 2 years.
This course runs aprox. 4.5 to 5.5 hours depending on class size.
If your instructor is not using the new 2023 standards, your course is out of date and compliance with AHA OEMS requirements.
Heart Saver : (NON PROFESSIONAL, CITIZEN RESPONDER)
This course teaches the Citizen non healthcare provider what to do in the event of an emergency. Course includes Adult/Child CPR -Choking, Infant CPR Choking, Barrier devices, Adult/Child AED, Infant CPR and more. After the video each student will get to practice the skills and a certificate of completion valid for 2 years will be issued.
This course runs between 3.5 to 4.5 hours depending on class size.
Friends & Family : ( NON PROFESSIONAL, CITIZEN RESPONDER)
This course teaches the Citizen non healthcare provider what to do in the event of an emergency. Compression only C.P.R. , Adult/Child CPR -Choking, Infant CPR Choking, Barrier devices, Adult/Child AED, Infant CPR and more. This course teaches "Compression Only" CPR. This is for those that do not feel comfortable giving mouth to mouth but still want to be able to assist in an emergency. After the video each student will get to practice the skills. NO CERTIFICATE is issued.
This course runs between 1-2 hours depending on class size.
Stop the Bleed. We are certified to teach the Stop the Bleed course. This takes about 1 to 2 hours. Learn how to pack a wound and use of a tourniquet as well as many other skills for bleeding control.
